In the world of luxury cashmere, Mirror in the Sky stands out for its exceptional craftsmanship, sustainability, and cultural connection. At the heart of this brand are Rosaura and Pere, a mother-and-son team whose vision and passion for artisanal quality and responsible fashion brought this unique brand to life.
Inspired by the Himalayas.
The story of Mirror in the Sky began with Rosaura's transformative journey to Nepal. As a designer passionate about art, nature, and textiles, she found a profound connection to the majestic peaks of the Himalayas."The first time I saw the beauty of the Himalayas, I knew I had found something that would change my life forever," says Rosaura. The people's warmth and their respect for the land inspired her to create something that would honor this connection.

A family-driven passion for ethical fashion.
For Rosaura and Pere, fashion is more than clothing—it's a statement of values. They built strong relationships with nomadic herders and artisans, ensuring every piece is made from cashmere fibers ethically sourced during the spring molting season. The result? Ultra-soft, sustainable cashmere scarves, shawls, and garments that respect the environment and the animals.
Pere soon joined his mother, bringing his business acumen and a shared commitment to sustainability. Together, they founded Mirror in the Sky in 2014 with a clear mission: to craft high-quality cashmere garments that connect people to the beauty of nature while adhering to ethical practices.
"Every piece we create reflects our dedication to sustainability, quality, and craft integrity. From the gentle combing of fibers to the final stitches, every step honors tradition and nature," explains Pere.
The philosophy behind Mirror in the Sky
The brand name, Mirror in the Sky, embodies a powerful philosophy. Inspired by Tibetan culture, the"mirror in the sky" reflects one's true essence and values. This belief shapes the brand's vision, creating garments that connect people to nature, tradition, and each other.
Bridging the Himalayas and the Mediterranean, Mirror in the Sky reflects a cultural fusion. Every garment is handwoven and dyed by skilled artisans. The result is a collection that tells a story of harmony between craftsmanship, nature, and style.
A Commitment to Social Impact and Women's Empowerment
Since its founding, Mirror in the Sky has aimed to create a positive impact in the communities it touches. Rosaura and Pere work closely with women's cooperatives in Nepal, providing meaningful employment opportunities that empower these artisans to develop skills and achieve financial independence. Each Mirror in the Sky piece is packaged in hand-crafted boxes, made by these women using traditional paper-making techniques.
"We believe that true luxury lies in the beauty of the details and the positive impact we can make on the communities we work with," adds Pere.
"Every garment carries that commitment to social good, ethical craftsmanship, and empowerment."
